Eleanor Krol is a registered Clinical Psychologist. She graduated from the University of Auckland with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours and prior to that, a Bachelor of Neuroscience with honours from the University of Bristol. Since then, she has worked in Community Mental Health settings, specialising with children and adolescents and currently works sports teams in Wellington. She is trained in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She has a research background and specialist interest in concussion.
Ian is the team psychologist for Auckland Aces and the high performance for young cricketers. High performance sport has highlighted that team success is not only down to talent and ability but importantly psychological readiness to perform where one puts themselves in a state of discomfort in order to perform at the highest stage.
