Lotte is a registered Clinical Psychologist, specialising in Sport Psychology and athletic performance. She completed her studies and training in the UK in 2013 and moved to Aotearora, NZ in 2016. Lotte has extensive experience in the NHS and Te Whatu Ora, working in paediatrics and physical health. She has an in-depth understanding of complex pain and the impact of illness or injury on the individual and their whānau. She has specialist training in the treatment of Eating Disorders and a particular interest in the impact of eating concerns, body image and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-s).
Lotte has supported athletes across a variety of different sports and works across the lifespan, seeing children, adolescents and adults. She is trained in a range of evidence based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness based interventions.
Lotte’s background in ultra running and endurance events has given her a personal insight into the power of the mind and mental skills on performance. Lotte enjoys working with all athletes, across any ability but is particularly passionate about individual sports, especially running and championing women in sport.
